Motmots in Mexico. 4 species of Motmot filmed in Mexico: Russet-crowned Motmot (Momotus mexicanus); Lesson`s Motmot (Momotus lessonii); Turquoise-browed Motmot (Eumomota superciliosa) and Blue-throated Motmot (Aspatha gularis). The Russet-crowned Motmot was filmed in Jalisco, Lesson's Motmot in Campeche, Turquoise-browed Motmot in Yucatán and the Blue-throated Motmot in Chiapas. On my next trip I hope to film the other 2 species of Motmot found in Mexico: Tody Motmot and the endemic Blue-capped Motmot.
