I colorized and restored this rare 1953 footage of Lodi, Ohio, and created a complete sound design, bringing new life to a parade review in front of the Idol Theater featuring the Lodi Tigers Marching Band and the Lodi Fire Department, followed by a walk through town and the local fair showcasing businesses such as Parker Furniture, Hower Bros., Lodi Shell, Western Auto, and BF Goodrich—some with their employees visible—capturing hundreds of faces of families, neighbors, and friends who lived in and around Lodi, Ohio.
Video Restoration Process:
FPS boosted to 60 frames per second
Image resolution boosted up to HD
Improved video sharpness and brightness
Colorized only for the ambiance (not historically accurate)

How nice that a small town put on a parade. The very early days of parades too. TY Lodi OH for showing us the way. Did you notice the prices on the grocery store windows? Gas is $.27 point 4 a gallon! I wonder what the town looks like today.
