This fiddle tune is an authentic Tennessee old-time tune written by a Tennessee banjo player, Uncle Dave Macon. I recorded this tune in calico tuning (AEAC#) on my record, but I normally play it in GDAD tuning. This song is recorded on my CD which is available on my website or for digital download on many platforms including iTunes and Amaz0n. You can also stream it on Spotify! My grey cat is named "Scratch," and my neighbors found and rescued him in the middle of the highway one Sunday on their way home from church.
