So glad for both of them, such good and close friends. And she is cancer free. Love it.
Such love between this blessed woman and her horse. What would she have done without Willow. So glad she is cancer free and can ride with Willow for a long time now. Thanks Mel.
Praise the Lord, the cancer is gone, and you and Willow have many years of happy memories together yet to be lived.
A beautiful story of love and companionship of a unique horse, that helps her overcome cancer.
This is a wonderful video! I've been a "horse" person most of my life. Congratulations on becoming cancer-free.
Animals are amazing, cannot imagine my life without them.
LOVED THIS STORY OF WILLOW. SHE FELT THE NEED OF HER OWNER, SHE DID SO MUCH TO HELP HER ON HER HEALING JOURNEY. ANIMALS HAVE THAT CONNECTION TO US. GOD BLESS WILLOW AND MAY RACHEL STAY IN REMISSION.
Very touching indeed! Rachel and Willow have certainly bonded beautifully. Congrats on this story, and have a blessed Christmas, Mel, as well as a peaceful 2024!
I think that this is a wonderful story. I had a similar situation 10 years ago. I had a very large tumor in my brain and life was very tough for several years after the surgery. It was a slow recovery and a neighbor down 5he road from us had a dog that would come and visit me in the middle of the night. The dog (Molly) was for me much better than all of the drugs that I was taking to recover. She would very carefully climb up on my lap and stare at hy head and whine very gently. After a couple minutes of the whining she would settle down in my lap and completely calm my thoughts down and make it possible for me to sleep. She would do that for a few hours then go to the back door and give a very small almost whispered bark to let me know that she wanted to go home. I told her owners about how she was taking care of me and they didn’t even know she was going out at night. This went on for a couple of months until I was getting over the surgery enough to where I could sleep a little on my own. That dog was better for me than all of the medication and doctors visits were.
This really touched me as I have recently gone through breast cancer. I wish I could of had a "Willow" but I am also blessed to be cancer free!
What a wonderful video you have chosen to share with us today, Mel. I was so glad to hear she is cancer free now. Cancer is such a cruel disease! I will share this video in hopes that those that need to see it, will.
