Wonderful and so thought provoking. I am going thru the death of my husband but know that there a lot of individuals going thru tough times. Showing a little love can do wonders…even to strangers.

Now may be a good time to bring this out, but real life isn't ruled by calendars and timepieces. This guy isn't "down" only in December. We can help by being "up" all year round. There are as many people having a hard time in June as there are in December. Don't put away your hearts when you put away the decorations. There are 4 Seasons every year.

The boss was certainly not very nice to her but what she did in the end could make all the difference in the world.

I didn't much like this one. This boss treated her badly too many times to let him off by accepting a gift from him (and by the way, he was giving ALL his employees gifts). Even after she has a meal with him, which I wouldn't have done, he'll probably still treat her shabbily after the holidays. You can say, "aww" all you like, but I think that mean man deserves to be alone. Did you see the expression on his face when he was about to hand her her gift? It was like, "I don't think you deserve this, but I gotta give you one like everyone else."
