    Thank you for your great old times brought back to life. I do like them in B&W but a few in color sparkles up the show. I worked at a gas station when I was 14 and bought my first car, yes in CA you could get your learners permit at 13 1/2. Gas then was 17.9 per gallon.

    Great video! I loved the old cars and the old gas stations. I remember the days when the gas stations had employee's (like me) that pumped the gas and then collected the money. I also remember the gas pumps that you had to crank before you could pump the gas. Ah, those were the days my friend.

    Black and white is okay, it does seem to be more authentic, but color is cool as well. One thing that struck me was that, I didn't know that the warning about gas containing lead dated back so far. I saw it on some pumps from the 30's. I thought that was a relative new warning. It was interesting to see a "slice of history". Thanks Mel!!

I have a restored 1932 SHELL station at the end of my hobby shop, so your video was very interesting!! I encourage you to do more "I remember when" videos of dealerships, and service stations!!
