Hello everyone and nice to see you back. History has had many sad stories with famous people who passed away broke, or close to penniless. All due to their poor financial decisions, lifestyle or bad fortunes. Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who was rich and famous, best known for her roles in movies "Hollywood or Bust" (1956) and "La Dolce Vita" (1960). Ekberg worked primarily in Italy, where she became a permanent resident in 1964. She had many good friends and yet no family. All of her riches had been lost, to expensive medical bills, thieves and a house fire. In her last days, she was supported financially by the Fellini Foundation. She died at age 83 in 2015, 'almost penniless'.
