Wonderful rescue for Piper, he received the best friend he could have had. Even animals need care and love.
We frequently treat our pets better than humans. This man is an example. Thank you.

So sad. However, Piper could not have asked for a better owner and best friend. He's having a rough go of it in his later years, but with all the attention he gets, he doing quite well. Another of God's wonderful creatures.

I didn't know there was such a thing as dog dementia. It's a sad thing for those we love, whether they're human or animal.
It breaks my heart as I have a little boy going down this path. He is deaf and becomes disoriented looking for me. Some nights I am awake listening for his breathing or a choke. They are our children who give us so much. I will not put him down until the last breath.
