Our herd loves rainy days, when every corner of the park becomes a muddy playground for the elephants. As the rain falls, the soft earth, cool water, and fresh air seem to invigorate them and put a little extra spring in their step.
Pyi Mai, Chaba, and their herd joyfully cross the river together, splashing through the flowing water before gathering to play along the riverbank. They chase one another, roll in the muddied earth, and breathe in the crisp, rain-washed air.
Rainy days may be dull for some, but for our elephants they are happy days filled with fun opportunities. Watching the herd play freely in the rain reminds us of the simple joys that nature offers. Here at Elephant Nature Park, these moments bring humor, bonding, and spontaneous play — a beautiful picture of what life can be for elephants when love, safety, and the freedom to simply be elephants are allowed to flourish.

Living their best life . . . right where they belong, in the wild (so to speak). Great organization.
