    He's afraid of 'catching up', not thinking that the sled ahead is moving at the same speed. Yes, you did catch up - because you both slowed down.
    I hope he's wearing a helmet. Just In Case. I'm sort of curious about the "ow" moments but, yes, I'd take the ride.
