    Mel, I just love people who rescue animals rather than buy from a breeder either commercial or back yard breeder. I can't understand either why people desert animals but I can't understand dog fighting or eating of dogs and cats either. Did someone say its the year 2021??

    I'm sure that the little puppy will be loved and cared for now, and it warms my heart to see people being kind to animals. (I wonder what they decided to name him.) And it also infuriates me to know there are still people out there who would neglect, abuse or abandon animals in any way.

    Poor baby, I'm so glad he found a good home. Unfortunately, there are many more who don't. Animals are not play things. They are living, breathing beings who need care and love just like people.

    Sadly, this happens in Israel as well. We saw hundreds of cats roaming the streets, looking for food from the back doors of restaurants. kittens and cats everywhere. Something should be done for them. they are ignored in these countries.
