Video Description:

First responders went to great lengths to get a family’s pet dog to the vet as soon as they could. The dog had breathed in heavy smoke after a fire broke out at the family’s Des Moines, Iowa, home. First, they gave the dog oxygen. Then he was taken in a patrol car to the vet. Experts there say getting him there was one of the biggest factors in saving his life. Inside Edition Digital has more.

WOW!!! KUDOS TO THE COPS AND THE FIRST RESPONDERS that saved that dogs life. That was an amazing rescue and to the Vet's office too that did more work and I bet the owner was just overjoyed at all of their life saving efforts. I hope the fire and medical are as good here as they were out there. I am impressed... Great story!!!
