In this video from the 2022 Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals held in Columbus OH, I have this 1969 Pontiac Firebird built by Garrets Rod Shop. This 69 Firebird is covered in mile deep black paint and Garrets added a Red Bird to the hood that came on latter models...I really like that splash of color. The custom red leather interior works well with the rest of this build. Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone, I think the ones that Garrets Rod Shop chose to run on this 1969 Pontiac Firebird from the 2022 Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals work well with the rest of the build. Under the hood things have been cleaned up and a LS added. Suspension and brakes have been upgraded, So that this 1969 Pontiac Firebird handles as well as it looks..And if the car wasn't cool enough, the story behind this car is just as cool...It was the owners first car..He didn't buy it new, He's not that old. Every day since He purchases it He has dreamed of taking it to this level. Many years later and after telling his family that He sold it so they would quit giving Him a hard time about how bad of shape it was in, here it sets...A 1969 Pontiac Firebird from the 2022 Goodguys S
