Video Description:

This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette didn't find its way into Leslie Sisco's family on the best terms. “When Mom came home, she found herself the new owner of a Corvette,” says Leslie with a smile, “and Dad nearly found himself divorced.” All's well that ends well, though, as the this classic Chevy spent the next several decades as an integral part of the Sisco family. Leslie is now the owner of the car after her father passed away a few years ago. She drives it regularly and has formed a close bond with the local car community. It's during her drives that she feels her father's presence most closely. “My dad would be proud that I take it out and enjoy it because he definitely enjoyed it,” she says. “If I just kept it in a garage and never enjoyed it, that would be disappointing for him.”

Hey Mel...what a Great Story about a guy and his DREAM and His daughter that inherited his Dream! I would be Very Proud driving that '66 Corvette myself. Our son was born in '66 too, but to have a Child and a New '66 Corvette was impossible for us for sure. Great Story Mel!
