With so many of our country's men off fighting in World War II, women's roles and responsibilities were changing. More women were finding themselves in the workplace, doing jobs previously held by men.

As a result, society was changing overall and with it, the fashions of the time. Please enjoy this video of everyday women's fashions in the 1940s.

Love the styles and simplicity of the outfits. classy and practical. Nice video.

Thank god there were poc in this one. No comments from the few that obviously still look at everything in life through their race-colored glasses, thrilled they had nothing to bitch about in this one.
