I remember all of these . . . funny, I was just talking to a friend about those vent windows. My dad called them wings, he'd say open the wing and I knew what he meant. I told my friend, I'm sure they have a name, but I only knew them by wing window. Lo and behold they are featured in this video and now I know why they were there -- no A/C.
