Missing You - by Old Old Joe | Porch Blues of Love and Loss #Video

Missing You by Old Old Joe | Porch Blues of Love and Loss. Old Old Joe is back on the porch with a song about absence, memory, and the kind of missing that settles in quiet and stays awhile.
Missing You is a front-porch blues reflection about the people we carry after they’re gone, the mornings that used to mean something different, and the way a guitar can still say what words can’t. It’s simple. It’s worn-in. And it’s honest.
This version leans into the lonely porch side of the song, but there may be another trail ahead for it too. Down the road, I may be looking for a new voice from the Porch to help bring a western version of this one to life.
If you’ve ever sat still long enough for the past to come walking back in, this one may speak your language.
Pull up a chair. The porch light stays on.
— Sam Dad Radio

Pinned Comment
Some songs don’t arrive loud. They just sit down beside you.
Missing You is one of those songs. It’s for the people who still show up in your mind when the morning gets quiet and the world slows down enough to feel what’s missing.
And there may be more to this one yet. I’m thinking about doing a western version later on, maybe with a new voice from the Porch. So if that sounds like your kind of trail, stay close.
Glad you’re here.

Disclosure
Sam Dad Radio Disclaimer (required): All titles, descriptions, pinned comments, and character responses are part of a fully immersive, fictional experience.

Porch Rattlin’ Mojo (Porch Light Ladies Instrumental) | Delta Blues Thunder Reignited.
The storm came through once before. Now the Porch Light Ladies have their hands on it.
This is Porch Rattlin’ Mojo — also known around the porch as Delta Blues Thunder — handed over to the ladies for a fresh instrumental run through Jade’s Ferry.
The original shook these boards on May 14, 2025 and rolled its way to nearly 2 million views. That kind of thunder doesn’t get replaced. It gets answered. So this ain’t a copy.
It’s a handoff. Same porch. Same rumble. Different fire in the hands. Groove, grit, stomp, shake, and that low-slung Delta electricity running through the floorboards.

To the new folks — welcome to Jade’s Ferry.
To the longtime porch riders — thank you for keeping this thing alive.
Pull up a chair and let the boards talk.

PINNED COMMENT: This one matters to me. Porch Rattlin’ Mojo first hit this channel on May 14, 2025, and y’all carried it to right at 2 million views. I never forgot that. Now I’m handing that thunder over to the Porch Light Ladies for an instrumental remake. Not replacing the original.
Just letting a different set of hands shake the same porch.
Did the ladies bring their own kind of storm to it? ????????❤️- Sam

DISCLAIMER:
Sam Dad Radio Disclaimer (required): All titles, descriptions, pinned comments, and character responses are part of a fully immersive, fictional experience.
